Project Summary

We need to address the global challenges we have been facing to achieve food security. One of the effective ways to solve these challenges is building a sustainable supply chain. To achieve this, many economies have become considering and implementing various ways to address environmental issues such as promoting plastic-free initiatives and facilitating sustainable raw material procurements.  Amid this circumstance, it is quite important to bring the public and private sectors together in international dialogues such as APEC, to share what they have been dealing with and to consider their respective roles to be played while working with the public and private sectors.

Thus, we will hold a workshop with invited private sector speakers (food related companies) aimed at promoting policies that meet the needs of the private sector and strengthening public-private partnerships during APEC SOM3.
