This project seeks to encourage the adoption of ‘traceability’ by SMEs. Traceability (both the technology and system) is a means to monitor and record data about the production and movement of goods and/or their components, and to make relevant information available to stakeholders in the supply chain.
Traceability can empower SME exporters by boosting their capability and confidence to meet cross-border regulations, especially those that require verifiable proof of claims, such as those relating to the environment. Traceability can also provide brands with a vehicle to engage better with customers, and thus enhance their competitiveness.
This project will include the following activities: roundtable dialogue, conference, micro-learning through webinars, and gamification through exercises.
